ITV Star In Car Crash at Stretton

NOELE GORDON star of two commercial television programmes in the Midlands, escaped injury last night when her car was in a head-on collision with another car at Stretton-on-Dunsmore.
Her car overturned and came to rest upside down in a ditch. A passenger in her car, Mr. Alan Tarrant, television producer, was also unhurt.
The other car was driven by Mr. Kenneth Stanton, of 27 Wrens Avenue, Tipton, Staffs. Stanton also escaped injury.

Both cars were extensively damaged. Miss Gordon was on her way to see Cyril Fletcher, at the Aston Hippodrome, and Lee Lawrence, the singer, who is appearing in West Bromwich.
Miss Gordon appears in the Associated TeleVision programmes Tea With Noele Gordon on Wednesday afternoons and in Fancy That? on Friday evenings. Mr Tarrant directs both shows while Miss Gordon is the producer.
Although uninjured Miss Gordon suffered from shock after the accident. She went on to Birmingham. Her programme tomorrow will go on as usual ATV stated to-day.
Miss Gordon has appeared at Coventry Theatre in Brigadoon and Call Me Madam.
