Noele Gordon is one of many who have commented on the leading paragraph in this column last week on the dearth of women comediennes.

Miss Gordon rightly instances her work in Brigadoon as evidence of her own rights in the matter.

She is to play Principal Boy at the London Palladium this year, and tells us she is not going to wait for that, but proposes at once to prepare a variety act.
